The Director of Nursing, Cardiac Critical Care is responsible for quality, functional excellence and contribution of the department´s output to the accomplishment of strategic and operational objectives of The Methodist Hospital. The Director of Nursing, Cardiac Critical Care provides strategic direction for nursing and business operations consistent with the company’s mission and values. The Director will integrate clinical management and financial expertise to operationalize health care delivery, and promote a practice environment that empowers nurses to provide effective, compassionate and efficient nursing care. Requirements: A Masters degree in Nursing or related field. A minimum of 6 to 8 years of nursing experience, at least 5 of which are in a management role. Management in a tertiary care facility preferred. Must be a registered nurse with a current license in the State of Texas.
