Currently HCMC is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide medical care to inpatient psychiatric patients in coordination with the psychiatrist. Inpatient psychiatry consists 5 inpatient adult units that provide services to a culturally diverse population 18 years of age and older. The most frequent diagnoses of these psychiatric patients are: Schizophrenia, Bipolar Affective Disorder, or Major Depression. There is high percentage of medical co-morbidity including diabetes, hypertension, cardiac disease, sleep disorders and respiratory disorders.
