The Radiology Department includes Inpatient Services, as well as Emergency Department Imaging Services and Outpatient Imaging Centers. This position manages and coordinates activities of nursing and support staff throughout the Radiology Department to ensure patient care is provided in accordance with established BHCS standards. Verifies patient needs are met and evaluates care provided. Ensures continuity of care is maintained between the nursing units and the Radiology Department, as well as the time the patient is receiving services within the Radiology Department. Under the direction of the Radiology Department Director, the Radiology Clinical Manager is directly responsible for managing the operations of VIR and Biopsy Services. This position is responsible for nursing practice throughout the Radiology Department and all registered nurses working in Radiology report to this Manager. The Radiology Clinical Manager will ensure compliance with the Nurse Practice Act. Additionally, you will assist the Radiology Department Director in the planning, designing and improvement of processes in Radiology services.RequirementsIf you have a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, a current Texas RN license, a minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable role with progressive responsibility, previous experience and working knowledge of interventional radiology as well as the ability to manage a multidisciplinary team, consider joining Baylor.
