Offering temporary or per diem assignments that will exceed your expectations, our in-house Medical Assignment Program allows healthcare professionals to work in a variety of settings with scheduling options that fit anyones active lifestyle. An assignment now exists on the Countys MAP team for: LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE II - Per Diem $18.54 HourlyWorking in the Department of Health ambulatory Family Care/Center clinic or other County of Riverside Community Health Agency public health program, LVN II- Per Diems provide highly skilled, vocational nursing care. Work assignments are flexibly scheduled or on an on-call basis and receive additional compensation in lieu of benefits. Qualified applicants will have at least one year of experience working as an LVN in the care of patients in an acute care or clinic assignment and posses a valid California Vocational Nurses License issued by the California Board of Vocational Nurse and Psychiatric Technician Examiners. Knowledge of current principles, techniques and procedures used in vocational nursing is required, as well as the ability to skillfully perform the full range of vocational nursing duties and follow policies and procedures. Licensed Vocational Nurses - II Per Diems maintain effective working relationships with physicians, patients and co-workers. If assigned to work at a clinic, Licensed Vocational Nurse II Per Diems will supervise clinic staff and operations.
