Position Information The Vice President of Patient Care Services will be responsible for the executive direction of nursing services including surgical and emergency services, as well as pediatrics and will oversee 605 FTEs with 13 direct reports. Qualified candidates will be masters prepared nurses who are committed to nursing excellence, have experience with evidence based practice and building a shared governance model. Bachelors in nursing required.Individuals having previous management and Magnet experience, and are comfortable in a change agent role to take nursing services to the next level are desired.System InformationThe medical center operates 202-beds and offers services including orthopedics, cardiac care, critical care unit, pediatrics, as well as emergency services and is part of a not-for-profit, acclaimed health systemThis award-winning system operates two hospitals with over 450 beds, physician practices, outreach programs, as well as a health foundation, and has been serving the community for more than 80 years.
