Description: B9I is a 12-bed Cardiothoracic ICU that cares for cardiac surgery patients, including heart transplants as well as general surgical and trauma patients. The staff of B9I provide care for critically ill patients requiring multiple technologies and advanced life support including: hemodynamic monitoring, Continuous veno-venous hemofiltration (CVVH), Intra Aortic Balloon pump (IABP), Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD), Temporary Pacing, Nitric Oxide (NO), and multiple drug therapies. B9I is unique such that the provision of daily care to patients including performing invasive procedures and laboratory tests is under the supervision of the attending intensivist and in communication with the Cardiothoracic Surgeon and Attending cardiologist. Requirements: RN CT License. ICU and CCU Experience Required. RN Diploma, Associate Degree, BS in Nursing, or BS, BA (non- Nursing).
