The Ernest Gallo Clinic and Research Center, an Emeryville-based not-for-profit research institute, has an exciting opportunity for highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Clinical Research Studies team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Medical assessment, including physical examination and documentation requirements• Medical monitoring of individuals admitted to the program• Taking after hours calls from participantsRequirements:• Graduated from an accredited BSN School of Nursing• Current license as a Registered Nurse in CA• Graduation from an accredited program for Nurse Practitioners• California Nurse Practitioner license• Current DEA number without restrictions• Current CPR and Basic Life Support Certificate• Phlebotomy and intravenous catheter skills• Knowledge of substance abuse treatment, including confidentiality, ethical and legal requirements• Excellent documentation and clinical skills• Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills.• Demonstrated excellent attendance and reliability• Must have current or recent (within the last year) clinical experience
