We currently have an opportunity for a Nurse Manager at Mease Dunedin Hospital . This Manager assumes 24-hour responsibility for our Med/Surg-Telemetry unit and acts as liaison between patients, team members, physicians, other customers, and administration. Qualified candidate will be a Florida licensed RN with an ASN and a BS in related field or in process of being completed within 36 months. Must also have BLS and 3 years nursing experience, one in a leadership role. BSN and one year nurse management experience preferred. A Masters in Nursing, Nursing Administration or related area preferred. * Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Florida with at least 5 or more years of clinical experience in area of specialty and 2 or more years of managerial experience required. * Evidence of ability to draw on knowledge from the following areas: Clinical practice guidelines, standards, and best practices, evidence-base nursing administration, fiscal management, healthcare evaluation and outcome measures, measurement of patients needs and nursing workload, performance improvement, service excellence and systems for patient safety. * Maintenance of national certification in Nursing Administration and/or area of specialization is preferred.
