We are looking for FTE and Per Diem Professionals Operating Room Registered Nurses In this role, the RN will be accountable for the provision of nursing care in the assigned intraoperative areas of the surgery center. Key functions will include ensuring patient needs are met in accordance with instructions of physician and facility administrative procedures. The operating nurse must set priorities in planning cases, and making clinical decisions. They are a resource for complex decision making and establishing individualized pal of care fort the per-operative patient. Pre-Op Registered Nurses In this role, the Pre-Op RN will be accountable for the provision of nursing care in the assigned pre-operative areas of the surgery center. They will set priorities; plan for the execution of smooth pre-operative case management, display top notch customer satisfaction skills and advocate for the patient. Interview the patient for health history, current conditions and risks for surgery/anesthesia. Communicate these concerns to the surgical team. Demonstrate safe conduct through the admission process including administration of intravenous access, preps, pre-medications and assist with blocks. PACU Registered Nurses In this role, the PACU RN will be accountable for the provision of nursing care in the assigned post-operative areas of the surgery center. Key functions will include ensuring patient needs are met in accordance with instructions of physician and facility administrative procedures. This position is responsible for providing nursing care for the patient in the immediate post-operative/post-anesthesia period, assessing and documenting the patients status upon arrival in the recovery room. Other duties include providing nursing care to meet patient needs, relative to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered, monitoring the patient and informing the Surgeon and/or anesthesia provider of observed complicationsRequirements Requirements We are in search of a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Requires a current state license as a Registered Nurse, current BCLS and ACLS/PALS certification within 6 months of hire date.Must have managerial competency and 2+ years of management experience in an ambulatory surgery center or an operating room in an acute care hospital.
