Our ICU is the perfect environment for true professionals! Our Directors focus on quality patient care and teamwork makes this unit a great place to be for Nurses with high personal expectations and a team mentality. The ICU RN provides professional nursing care within the unit and coordinates care planning with other disciplines. This dynamic position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Our ICU RNs are responsible for rendering individualized, age specific and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs. Additionally, the ICU RN acts as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care. As part of our team, you may be asked to be in charge for a shift. The ideal candidate has BSN and a CCRN certification. Our patients, their families and your coworkers all benefit from your effective interpersonal skills, focus on service and quality and ability to work cohesively. Technology is just one of the ways we better serve our patients so basic computer skills are important too.
