Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse PractitionerDays of work/hours of work part time, 3 days/week (likely Mon-Tue-Fri, but negotiable), with rotating on-call/weekend schedulingUnder the supervision of the medical director/psychiatrist, function as an integral part of a multi-disciplinary medical team. Conduct psychiatric evaluations, and manage psychopharmacological treatment for a diverse adult female population. Consult and collaborate with other team members in the development and implementation of treatment plans. Contribute to the professional knowledge and growth of the team. Collect, document, and analyze client data. Coordinate client care with ancillary clinical services. Make appropriate referrals to consulting medical staff. Requirements: Graduate degree and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification with experience in psychiatryBoard certifiedValid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of TennesseeMinimum 2 years experience in general psychiatry; experience in adult residential treatment highly desirableSuperior diagnostic and clinical skillsAbility to prioritize and perform with minimal directionGeneral knowledge of treatment of substance abuse very importantCurrent DEA certificateCurrent BLS and First Aid certifications
