Under the direction of the Nurse in Charge, the Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for the care of patients and nursing functions within his/her scope of practice on the General Duty Ward of the Churchill Regional Health Authority. QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of recognized diploma and/or degree program in nursingCurrent registration in good standing with College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM) or be eligible for Manitoba RegistrationCurrent CPR CertificationPrevious experience as an LPN would be an assetDemonstrates an interest in keeping abreast of current knowledge, improved methods and techniques in nursing practise in order to enhance the quality of care that is provided.Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsThis position will be subject to a Child Abuse registry and Criminal Records check
