This position is responsible for the coordination and supervision of hospital and patient care services for the 2nd (3pm-11pm) shift. Provides leadership for clinical excellence, personnel management, resources management, fiscal accountability and maintenance of positive working relationships with staff, physicians, patients, visitors, volunteers, community agency representatives and the public. Participates in nursing and hospital activities to achieve department and organization goals. Makes decisions, authorizes and acts in the absence of department management and/or hospital administration. Requirements:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current RN licensure in the state of Michigan required. Bachelor of Science in nursing or related field from an accredited school of nursing preferred. CPR, BCLS and ACLS certification required. Minimum of three to five years current nursing experience required. ER or Critical Care and supervisor experience preferred.
