We currently have an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Nurse Manager for our Neuroscience Unit. Our facility has a 14-bed Neuroscience ICU and 6 step-down beds. We have a nationally recognized Stroke Center with full interventional capabilities. The tumor program has the only CyberKnife in the region. We are a Level I Trauma Center.This position is an overnight shift: five nights per week/ one weekend per month. Hours are flexible, either 7pm-3am or 11pm-7amREQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:- Current NYState RN license- BCLS, ACLS certified- Must be enrolled in Bachelors program; Bachelors Degree preferred- 3-5 years experience in a neurology unit of an acute care facility- 1-2 years supervisory experienceWinthrop-University Hospital has nearly 600 beds, many nationally recognized healthcare professionals, and the most sophisticated medical technology available.
