At least one year of Critical Care RN experience is required; Neuro ICU experience is preferred. Responsibilities The contribution of the Companion to the Nursing Team is essential to the achievement of total patient care by providing continuous observation for identified patient(s). The Companion carries out routine tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and within the policies of the Division of Nursing and as identified by the individual Clinical Nursing Department, and performs selected duties to maintain a safe, neat, and clean patient environment. Candidates must be enrolled in a BSN program. Previous nurse´s aide experience in a hospital setting preferred.
