NP - UROLOGY DEPARTMENTJoin a practice with 2 urologists practicing in St. Paul and Bloomington. Work as a member of the Urology Department, take medical histories, examine and treat patients, make diagnosis, prescribe medication, document notes, and patient education.This is a clinic based non-operative position, providing clinical coverage 5 days per week. Will perform consults, pre-op and post-op rounding on patients at United Hospital in St. Paul and Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.First call one week every 4 weeks, with physician back up. Additional compensation provided when taking evening and weekend call.Electronic medical record system being implemented in 2009Lab, X-ray, MRI, CT and mammography are available on site.Qualifications: - Masters of Arts Degree in Nursing- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing- Adult or Family Practice Nurse Practitioner Certification- ACLS/BLS Certification- Current Minnesota RN licenseCompetitive compensation based upon qualifications.Excellent benefits including health, dental, and life insurance, disability, retirement savings plan, vacation, CME, tuition reimbursement and malpractice insurance (includes tail coverage)
