We operate on-site employee health centers, pharmacies and fitness centers for many of the country´s largest corporations and federal agencies.We currently have an opportunity for a full time Nurse Manager to join our team in Philadelphia, PA.Responsibilities: -Functions within the scope of the respective state registered nurse professional regulations, rules, and guidelines. - Provides direct nursing care and follow-up of occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses utilizing the nursing process, SOAP charting procedures, and nursing standards of practice.- Collaborates with other members of the on-site health & safety team, to include, nurse practitioner, physician, wellness/prevention, safety, ergonomics, and EAP representatives to identify problems and propose solutions to maintain a safe and healthful work force and dependent population. - Provide administrative functions as deemed necessary to facilitate good client and patient relations - Develops, coordinates, presents and promotes onsite Wellness programs for the client´s employee population in a single contract - Assists patients in meeting health, safety, and wellness goals; May provide direct or indirect patient assistance in setting goals and objectives to meet health and wellness needs through one on one, and/or group interactions or sessions - May create clinical documentation using electronic systems (i.e., EMR, charting etc.) for each interaction - Researches, develops, coordinates, and conducts wellness programs in areas such as nutrition, stress management, weight management, smoking cessation and others - Works closely with third party health and wellness vendors - Promotes health education through ongoing participation in client worksite meetings and projects, task forces, client-directed outreach, and committees - Assesses and maintains reports, evaluates the health education programs & conducts ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of the programs - May participate in ongoing communication with the local clinic within a large contract - Presents in an effective and professional manner - May interact directly with the client or client representative. Represents the health center, as appropriate, in scheduled or ad hoc employer meetings regarding health and wellness events or strategic initiatives- May assist with the collection of biometric data such as height, weight, blood pressure and demographic data, consent forms and cholesterol testing - Assists in training of other colleagues as directed and completes other duties as assigned - Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization´s policies, applicable laws and regulations, and standards of practice - Responsibilities include participation in interviewing, hiring, and training staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining nursing staff; addressing complaints and resolving problems related to the staff.

Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment. Masters Degree, Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with an adult population focus. Three to five years clinical experience in emergency care, ambulatory care, internal medicine or acute medical surgical nursing. Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills. Experience in occupational health/corporate health nursing preferred. Investigates and resolves complaints.RequirementsQualified candidates will hold be a RN, with respected certification or degree requirements from an accredited university. Minimum of 3 years experience in concurrent clinical role in an ER, Occupational Health Clinic or other ambulatory care clinic. Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred. Must have current state required licensure and additional certification as a COHN, CCM or CEN preferred. BLS certification is required. ACLS is recommended. Previous experience with Microsoft Office and an electronic medical records system.
