Quick Points:**Clinical Nurse Specialist - Medical Surgical**Michigan Grand Rapids**Full Time/Permanent Position**Base Salary - $65,000 - $85,000 **Relocation Assistance Available Yes**Interview Travel Reimbursed YesJob Requirements: **Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan. **Master´s Degree in Nursing required. **Two years of a recent relevant clinical nursing experience. **Maintenance of CPR certification. **Previous program development and specialty certification preferred. **Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program.Schedule: 80 hours per two-week pay period, primarily Monday - Friday, but occasional weekends may be necessary according to needs.Job Summary: In collaboration with other members of the health care team, provides, enhances and improves health care delivery by evaluating nursing practices, developing methodologies, establishing standards of care and providing consultative services. Is a clinical expert in the theory-based and/or research-based nursing practice within a specialty area.Other: Ability to write presentations and articles for publications that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
