Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards.   Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing is necessary.  Must be able to transfer and position patients independently and safely.    Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts.  We have opportunities for full-time or part-time RNs.        Must have a current license as a Registered Nurse which allows you to practice in the state of UtahMust have a current CPR (Healthcare Provider) and ACLS certification.Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an ICU department is required.Must be available to work at LDS Hospital, Alta View Hospital, Intermountain Medical Center and soon to be Riverton Hospital as assigned.Must be available to work budgeted hours in the float pool regardless of other Intermountain positions. Hours are not guaranteed.Must be available to work weekend and holiday shifts.  Weekends include Friday shifts starting at or after 1500 and continuing through shifts starting at or before 1500 on Sunday.  Monthly weekend requirements are based on average hours worked for that month. One Winter, Summer, and ´other´ Holiday are required. Schedules need to be submitted for the pay period one pay period in advance.Must have access to and bi-weekly use of email.  All department communication and schedule submissions are done via Outlook email.

This position is accountable for provision of therapeutically effective care delivered in compliance with hospital, community and national standards. RNs work closely with a full-scale unit-based interdisciplinary team. This work area places major emphasis on promoting optimum function, service excellence, patient satisfaction, team work and staff development. In conjunction with our management team and your assigned coach, you will be guided through your customized orientation to support your successful transition into the RN role.   UT RN licensure (or license eligible) required. BLS (health care provider) CPR certification required.. Must be flexible to work rotating shifts and weekends, on-call (as needed). One year RN experience or participation in Urban Central Region New Grad Residency Program required. One year orthopedic and med/surg experience is helpful but not required. Candidates must be committed to providing superior patient service and care delivery in a progressive team environment. Communication skills are essential. Applicant must have the ability to transfer and position patients safely. This is a night shift position.

This person makes rounds on the patient care units and is available as needed for issues that benefit from management help and/or intervention.   This position is responsible to be a clinical and service resource, to ensure appropriate patient placement, supervise clinical activities, maintain disaster training skills, and to coordinate safe and appropriate patient care between all departments and disciplines. Must have a current license as a Registered Nurse that allows you to practice in the state of Utah, or be license eligible. Excellent public relations, negotiating and prioritizing skills are necessary. Demonstrated clinical competence of five years RN experience required with two years in an acute care hospital and RN Management experience preferred. BLS for health care provider (CPR) certification required with ACLS preferred. ICU/ER experience is preferred. Must be able to function in high pressure situations. Bachelor´s Degree is required, BSN is preferred. Physical ability to make multiple rounds during a 12 hour shift is required.
