Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards.   Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing is necessary.  Must be able to transfer and position patients independently and safely.    Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts.  We have opportunities for full-time or part-time RNs.        Must have a current license as a Registered Nurse which allows you to practice in the state of UtahMust have a current CPR (Healthcare Provider) and ACLS certification.Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an ICU department is required.Must be available to work at LDS Hospital, Alta View Hospital, Intermountain Medical Center and soon to be Riverton Hospital as assigned.Must be available to work budgeted hours in the float pool regardless of other Intermountain positions. Hours are not guaranteed.Must be available to work weekend and holiday shifts.  Weekends include Friday shifts starting at or after 1500 and continuing through shifts starting at or before 1500 on Sunday.  Monthly weekend requirements are based on average hours worked for that month. One Winter, Summer, and ´other´ Holiday are required. Schedules need to be submitted for the pay period one pay period in advance.Must have access to and bi-weekly use of email.  All department communication and schedule submissions are done via Outlook email.  

RN II is a registered nurse in the PACE (Professional Advancement/Clinical Excellence) Program, with at least one-year current experience in an acute-care setting at time of hire, or who has advanced to an RNII from an RN I level. Leads a team of multi-skilled patient care providers in the delivery of preferred outcome oriented, safe, therapeutic and cost effective care. Identifies patient needs based on professional knowledge and medical plan of care. Establishes individualized outcome measures for each patients care. Delegates interventions based on critical thinking skills and a knowledge of the competencies of each team member. Coordinates care to maximize desirable outcomes, patient satisfaction, and cost effective utilization of available personnel and resources. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses. Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia. Minimum of one-year current experience in an acute care setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and teaching skills required. Sound conflict management skills and the ability to be fair, unbiased and even-tempered. Ability to function as a role model in a professional leadership position and to maintain a minimum of 12 contact (Continuing Education Units) hours per year through an accredited provider.
