Share our passion and join our team.SENIOR CLINICAL NURSING INSTRUCTORIn this role that combines clinical knowledge and instructional expertise, you will act as Master Teacher in the Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies Second Degree BSN program. Providing faculty development and monitoring Clinical Nursing Instructors, Advanced Nurse Educators and Nurse Educators will be expected, as well as conducting classroom and clinical teaching. Other duties include acting as student advisor; participation in recruitment and retention activities; leading processes related to scholarship recipient selection. We expect the incumbent to continue scholarly pursuits, such as research, presentation of papers at national conferences, writing for publication and being a recognized expert in the field.Qualified candidates will hold a Ph.D. in Nursing, Education or Healthcare Administration, and have 5+ years´ progressive nursing experience and minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a BSN program; those with nursing advanced practice experience administrative, clinical or education are encouraged to apply. Current District of Columbia RN license is required, as are excellent communication, complex problem solving and interpersonal skills.
