Intermountain is recognized as a leading healthcare system and a model for what is right in American medicine.The Registered Nurse/CV Invasive Specialist performs duties necessary for catheterization procedures at a technical and professional level requiring minimal supervision of technical detail.  Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require frequent independent judgment.  Assumes responsibility and initiative for designated areas and procedures as required.  Maintains a complete knowledge of cardiopulmonary pathophysiology, pharmacology, anatomic anomalies, and specific treatment options. Has a thorough knowledge of invasive diagnostic and interventional supplies, appropriate indications and applications, and proper use and deployment techniques. Demonstrates strong critical thinking and good judgment skills. Anticipates patient status changes related to procedural events and takes immediate, appropriate action in response.  Must have current RN licensure or be license eligible.  Two years of CV Invasive Training experience required. Current ACLS or PALS and BLS certification. Electrophysiology experience required. Experience with 3D Mapping (Carto, Ensite systems) preferred.  Experience with atrial fibrillation ablation is preferred.

We currently have an opportunity for a per diem Critical Care Registered Nurse to access, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The Registered Nurse will assist with the planning and presentation of developmental in-services and to cross train in areas outside of the normal nursing responsibilities. Qualified candidates will possess:• Nevada Registered Nurse License• Graduate Degree from an accredited school of Nursing • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification• Minimum of one year intensive care unit, critical care unit or cardiac catheterization laboratory experience• Knowledge of ECG monitoring • Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump experience preferred • Current acute care experience preferred• Successful completion of acute care specialty course or obtained within 6 months of hireAt Sunrise Health we’re guided by a simple yet powerful motto, “Another Sunrise.
