The first assistant does not function in the scrubbed role on the procedure and is dedicated solely to assisting the primary surgeon. (The surgeon must by physically present in the operating room where the surgical procedure is being performed until the patient leaves the OR.) Experience Required: In this seasonal position, successful candidate must a Registered Nurse who is experienced in open heart surgery and endovein harvesting using the Terumo system; 3 years of perioperative nursing experience in both a scrub and circulating role.Certification Preferred: CRNFA certification ACLS
