Join a dynamic Pediatric multidisciplinary clinic and work with a dedicated team of healthcare providers committed to the children of the State of Arizona. Treating the most complex diagnoses receiving surgical repair at various hospitals including out of state facilities. This team is afforded the opportunity to develop an on-going relationship with the patients and their family members as they experience the treatment provided in the clinic during normal business hours, Monday - Friday. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide the coordination of busy subspecialty clinics, phone triage to address acute symptoms and questions, multiple tests, treatments, medications changes, and the coordination of hospital discharges with home healthcare follow-up. The RN will work in collaboration with a multiple of team members that include a physician, social worker, as well as members of our psychology and child life departments to provide patient education, phone triage, and case management. The Registered Nurse is expected to practice consistent with professional standards, the Nurse Practice Act and hospital job description.REQUIREMENTS: AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State (Please refer to www.ncsbn.org for complete listing of Compact States.) 2 years RN experience preferredBCLS certification and resuscitation level certificate as appropriate to assigned department. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish), pediatrics and special needs patient experience is preferred.
