We seek Nurse Practitionersexperienced in Rheumatology to join our team. This is a busy (25 patients/day) and challenging clinic practice. Southwest Medical Associates offers patients 14 convenient neighborhood locations in the Las Vegas/Southern Nevada area. Rheumatology patients are seen at West Flamingo and South Eastern Clinics. Clinic hours are 8-5 M-F with no weekends and no call responsibilities. As a Provider team member you will be treated with respect, and given the tools you need to provide the best in quality, accessible and coordinated care. We enjoy an electronic medical record, electronic prescriptions, and digital radiology system. As a NP in Rheumatology, you would be expected to give joint, bursa and tendon injections, and participate in the evaluation and treatment of established patients with rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and other rheumatologic diseases.Other Physician and NP specialty teams at SMA include Endocrinology, OB/GYN, Urgent Care, Women�s Health, Gastroenterology, Anesthesiology, and Wound Care. We also employ specialty Hospitalist physicians to deliver and manage inpatient care and contract with single specialty groups in all other specialties.
