We seek an AANC Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our adult medicine team. This is a busy (25 patients/day) and challenging (all age groups except pediatrics) clinic practice. As an NP you will be assigned a preceptor, and you will work in partnership with this physician. Providers are grouped into patient care teams to provide a smaller collegial workgroup and so other physicians are able to assist you when the preceptor is out of the office. Clinic hours are 8-5 M-F with no weekends and no call responsibilities. As a Provider team member you will be treated with respect, and given the tools you need to provide the best in quality, accessible and coordinated care. We enjoy an electronic medical record environment, digital radiology system and use hand held PDAs for prescriptions, schedules and notes. Other Physician and NP specialty teams at SMA include Endocrinology, Geriatrics, OB/GYN, Urgent Care, Women�s Health, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Pulmonary, Anesthesiology, Neurology and Wound Care. We also employ specialty Hospitalist physicians to deliver and manage inpatient care and contract with single specialty groups in all other specialties.
