We currently have opportunities for per diem Registered Nurses to access, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients of the Labor & Delivery Department. Responsibilities include obtaining patient history and assessing labor risk factors, caring for patients requiring fetal assessment/fetal monitoring, managing the patients pain by administering epidural and controlling analgesia administration, administering prescribed medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting Physicians during delivery, treatment, examination and surgical procedures, instructing and educating patients and facilities, as well as, orienting and mentoring new staff members. Qualified candidates will possess:• Nevada Registered Nurse License• Graduate Degree from an accredited school of respiratory care• Basic Life Support Certification• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification• Advance Cardiac Life Support Certification • Current acute clinical care experience• Successful completion of a specialty course within 6 months of hireAt Sunrise Health we’re guided by a simple yet powerful motto, “Another Sunrise.
