We currently have an opportunity for a per diem Critical Care Registered Nurse to access, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The Registered Nurse will assist with the planning and presentation of developmental in-services and to cross train in areas outside of the normal nursing responsibilities. Qualified candidates will possess:• Nevada Registered Nurse License• Graduate Degree from an accredited school of Nursing • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification• Minimum of one year intensive care unit, critical care unit or cardiac catheterization laboratory experience• Knowledge of ECG monitoring • Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump experience preferred • Current acute care experience preferred• Successful completion of acute care specialty course or obtained within 6 months of hireAt Sunrise Health we’re guided by a simple yet powerful motto, “Another Sunrise. Job Specialty: Medical/Surgical Position Type: Regular-F/T Shift Length: 10hr Hours: TBD Days: Monday - Friday Shift Type: Day Weekends: As Needed Job Description: Cedars-Sinai Medical Center has an immediate opening for an experienced and professional Clinical Nurse II for the division of Cardiologys Cardiovascular Intervention Center.Responsibilities include the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care of Cardiac patients from the point of admission to discharge. The qualified RN will cross-train to circulate, monitor and scrub for invasive procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult catheterization and electrophysiology cases and function in the Charge Nurse role after completion of orientation. Education and Work Experience Preferences: Requirements include current CA RN license, ACLS, BCLS, PALS and 2-3 years RN experience. Critical Care experience strongly recommended. Special Procedures/Cardiac Cath Lab experience, preferred in diagnostic and interventional adult and pediatric cases. Electrophysiology --experience in cardiac electrical mapping, ablations and device implantation. Taking call for emergency procedures evenings, nights, weekends with an expected 30 minute maximum response/arrival time and the ability to work prolonged hours in a procedure setting with x-ray exposure is also required.
