The nurses attend multidisciplinary team rounds, care for all solid organ transplant patients as well as thoracic surgery patients, post vats or lung volume reduction and vascular and post cardiac surgery patients.The Clinical Nurse IV assumes the responsibility and accountability for the supervision and application of the nursing process throughout the delivery of patient care. Applies clinical knowledge regarding standard of care to consolidate interventions for time and cost savings. Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory requirements in patient assignment making delegations of tasks, documentation. Coordinates care for the delivery team. Demonstrates a commitment of customer service and an ability to meet the needs and expectations of patients and health care colleagues.
