Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Float Pool - Urban Central Region - Salt Lake City, UT

Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards.  Must have a current license as a Registered Nurse which allows you to practice in the state of UtahMust have a current CPR (Healthcare Provider) card; prefer ACLSMinimum 1 year RN experience in a Labor and Delivery department is required.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.  Ability to transfer and position patients independently and safely.Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts.Must be available to work at LDS, Alta View, Intermountain Medical Center, TOSH and Riverton Hospital as assigned.Must be available for a minimum of 12 hours per pay period in the float pool regardless of other Intermountain positions.  This may include both worked and hospital cancelled hours. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.  Weekends include Friday shifts starting at or after 1500 and continuing through shifts starting at or before 1500 on Sunday.  Monthly weekend requirements are based on average hours worked for that month. One Winter, Summer, and ´other´ Holidays are required. Flexible self scheduled 4, 8, or 12 hour shiftsMust have access to and bi-weekly use of e-mail.  All department communication and schedule submissions are done via Outlook e-mail.Hours are not guaranteed.

Must have 3-5 years in L&D experience. Current CA RN licenses required. ACLS, NRP, BLS, STABLE required.Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification preferred or within 6 months of hire date.
