Position Summary Purpose: To manage daily clinical and personnel activities and to provide administrative support to the Assistant Director. The Nurse Manager participates and coordinates the delivery of high quality, family centered and developmentally appropriate patient care at the unit level. Knowledge and Skills: Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is a knowledge of Word processing and Quality improvement concepts. Also required is the ability to operate a personal computer and Monitor the quality of nursing care. Formal Education, License, and Experience: The following are required for completely satisfactory performance in this job. Current RN Licensure by the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners, Bachelor´s degree in Nursing (BSN) and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
