Division of Urology (Pediatrics) Nurse PractitionersScott & White Healthcare and Texas A&M College of MedicineScott & White Healthcare and the Texas A&M College of Medicine are currently seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner to see Pediatric Urology Patients in the outpatient clinic. This is typically a Monday Friday position with no call. The division presently consists of 7 physicians, 5 residents, research staff and a dedicated nursing team. The successful candidate will possess excellent assessment skills, communicate effectively and possess the ability to develop positive interactions with children and their families. The Congenital Heart Center at St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a qualified cardiac surgical physician assistant or pediatric nurse practitioner to join their team of seven pediatric cardiologists, five pediatric cardiac intensivists, eight nurse practitioners and two pediatric cardiac surgeons. St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center is the only facility in the region (and one of a few in North America) that provides a continuum of cardiac care from prenatal diagnosis through childhood, adolescence, and adulthood for individuals with congenital heart disease. The Congenital Heart Surgical program has some of the best outcomes in the in the Society of Thoracic Surgeons national database. A designated 24 bed pediatric cardiothoracic unit was opened last summer and is unique to the southwest. Responsibilities: First assisting in the operating room with complex congenital cases; placement and removal of chest tubes and lines; pre-operative and post-operative assessment of surgical patients; assisting with management of patients in the intensive care unit as needed; maintenance of surgical database. The Pediatric Critical Care and Hospitalist Service (PCCHS) at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada is currently seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for the Pediatric ICU and Pediatric Unit.

Responsibilities include providing patient care within your scope of practice; organizing patient data; and assisting PCCHS physicians with information processing, storage, and medical documentation. You will also have a key role in multidisciplinary case management activities and parent/patient education.Candidates must be licensed, or qualified for licensure as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of Nevada. Experience in pediatrics, critical care or emergency medicine is required. This is a full-time position with rotating shifts and weekend involvement. An Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner is licensed in the State of Florida and, under administrative direction, provides medical/ surgical services to patients as defined by protocol filed with the State of Florida and signed by a physician licensed to practice medicine/surgery in the State of Florida. Participates as a team member in the provision of health and medical care while interacting with professional colleagues to provide comprehensive care. Maintains accurate, legible and confidential records. Skills Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology; interpersonal/human relations; ability to implement and interpret policies and procedures; knowledge of regulatory agency standards (i.e. JCAHO, OSHA, HRS), Nursing Standards and Florida Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrates clinical skill in area of ambulatory care or particular specialization. Basic management skills. Experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
