Alice Peck Day Health Systems is looking for a Clinical Supervisor from 7am-7pm Saturdays and Sundays.
The Clinical Supervisor serves as a resource to all hospital personnel (excluding the Extended Care Facility) on the weekend shift, maintains effective communication in carrying out administrative responsibilities, demonstrates expert clinical skills, sound knowledge and ability to problem solve in complex clinical and administrative situations.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:- Assumes responsibility for clinical management functions on the weekend shift.- Models excellence in nursing practice through the utilization of advanced concepts in the areas of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of the nursing process.- Demonstrates excellence in technical clinical skills.- Responds to various hospital departments requiring emergency and clinical assistance.- Provides education to staff and acts as a clinical resource.- Maintains knowledge of current nursing issues and health care trends.- Represents hospital administration on the weekend shift and refers issues to appropriate management staff. POSITION STANDARDS:- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. State of New Hampshire Registered Nurse license. Current BCLS, ACLS required. BSN preferred.- Three (3) to five (5) years of emergency room or critical care experience; leadership; managerial experience preferred.
