Oncology Program Manager

Baystate Franklin Medical Center´s strategic vision is to become the best hospital in the Pioneer Valley and to forge its commitment to the community it serves.Position: Community hospital seeks collaborative nurse manager for development and delivery of high quality patient care with customer-friendly service in conjunction with the Baystate Regional Cancer Program. Responsible for daily oversight of oncology nursing for scheduling, professionalism, knowledge/skill/competencies and possible oversight of business operations and other staff. Requires a working knowledge of scheduling and billing practices for clinical operations. Must possess the knowledge and ability to safely administer chemotherapy, biological agents, blood products and have a working knowledge of radiotherapy treatments in multiple disciplines. Participates in identifying and implementing policies and procedures and Standards of Care for Nursing in conjunction with Clinical and Medical Leadership. Assumes accountability for own professional practice and aspects of patient care delegated to others.Qualifications: BSN preferred but will consider ADN matriculating to BSN. MSN desired. OCN required. 3-5 years oncology, with 3 years or more supervisor/management experience. Competency in cancer care, IV therapy, management/supervision. MA RN license. May be required to fill-in as staff care provider.

RN Clinical Coordinator PediatricsBaystate Pediatrics, a large outpatient practice of Baystate Children´s Hospital, is currently seeking a dynamic nursing leader to manage the clinical staff of six specialty pediatric practices.The Pediatric RN Clinical Coordinator will serve as a resource to providers and staff to assure that clinical staff are providing the highest level of care and service to our patients and families. The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible to assess, identify, develop and facilitate clinical orientations, educational programs and initiatives to meet the needs of all the practices. The Coordinator will provide leadership through education and teambuilding and will be responsible for identifying and participating in quality and service improvement initiatives while maintaining regulatory compliance and effectively managing work flow. The ideal candidate must have a MA RN license (BSN preferred) and a minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience working in a fast paced, multi-physician outpatient setting. Must have competency in delivering pediatric nursing care and have proven success in partnering with physicians, team development, staff education and process improvement.
