Seeking an experienced Nurse Director with a passion for Women�s and Children�s Health to join a hospital system in Western North Carolina.
Responsible for the delivery of patient care that promotes safety and well-being of all patients in their assigned department(s) on a 24-hour basis by providing leadership which facilitates the coordination and delivery of nursing care for their designated area(s). Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the overall clinical nursing practice and administrative activities, including fiscal, material, and human resource management. Maintains open communication with all staff to promote improvement in performance. Acts as the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer for Grace Hospital and Valdese Hospital. This position requires a sound knowledge of nursing practice and exceptional leadership abilities.Grace Hospital is a non-profit facility with 204 beds offering a broad range of specialized services, including 24-hour emergency care.
