The California Heart Institute Clinic has an immediate opening for a Clinical Nurse III to perform a variety of direct patient care activities or tasks specific to the unit/needs of the patient population. The Clinical Nurse III consistently demonstrates professional skills and abilities, utilizes her/his knowledge base and proficient skills to direct and supervise the clinical performance of others in the role of collegial consultant and resource person and maintains competency skills including ability to provide care to special patient populations and patients with diverse cultural backgrounds. Education and Work Experience Preferences: Requirements include current CA RN license, AHA BLS and at least 3 years acute RN experience to include 1 or more years direct patient care experience in an outpatient setting. BSN is preferred. Physical demands include sitting, walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs and exposure to normal office and clinical area noise.

Education and Work Experience Preferences: Requirements include valid California RN License, BLS, ACLS, BSN and 5 years acute RN experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills is also required.
