The unit consists of 4 triage beds, 8 Labor Rooms, 11 LDR Rooms, 3PACU beds, 3 Operating Rooms to care for our Laboring patients, as well as 24hr Anesthesia coverage, where we aim to provide the safest environment for our patients and families to celebrate their birth experience.The Registered Nurse II assumes the responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care makes clinical judgments and carries out related nursing intervention using the nursing process without supervision. Applies clinical knowledge regarding standard pattern of care to consolidate interventions for time and cost savings. Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory requirements in patient assignment making delegation of tasks, documentation. Coordinates care for the patient and delivery team. Demonstrates a commitment to customer service and an ability to meet the needs and expectations of patients and health care colleagues. Requirements: Certifications: Valid California Registered Nurse License. Nine months or more acute care experience required. Certified in ACLS, BLS, NRP, Basic/Advanced EFM and Intravenous Therapy.
