Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner at Children�s National Medical Center.
Acting under the collaborative supervision of a physician, you will be responsible for coordinating our Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program, including both inpatient and outpatient care, developing standards of patient care, enrolling patients in the CF registry, facilitating CFF research, and providing clinical education, leadership, and consultation within the specialty area. Working closely with the Pediatric CF Coordinator, you will assure smooth and timely transition of patients to the adult program.Ideally, you will have a Master´s of Science in Nursing, a minimum of 5 years nursing experience, and national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult Nurse Practitioner. You also must be licensed to practice in an expanded nursing role and must be able to meet all credentialing requirements of the Children´s National Medical Center Medical Staff.
