ASSISTANT NURSE MANAGER

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join Christiana Care as a full time Assistant Nurse Manager on our Acute Care of the Elderly unit.Utilize your leadership and clinical skill as a licensed professional caregiver to coordinate patient care and unit operations. Your responsibilities will include delegating patient care duties, facilitating communication among interdisciplinary team members and care teams, as well as managing the patient´s plan of care to ensure achievement of desired patient outcomes. To be considered candidates must possess at least 3 years of experience in acute care, preferably in area of speciality. RN required BSN preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Our Perioperative Nurse candidates must have prior experience scrubbing and circulating in a main OR or busy surgery center environment.
