Ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience with prior leadership/managerial experience in Telemetry unit. SUMMARY: The Manager has twenty-four hours responsibility for management of their assigned service lines/areas such that the delivery of high quality patient care is assured and designated budgetary parameters are maintained. - Manages and integrates functions to support Civista Medical Centers goals and priorities. - Builds effective working relationships. - Provides effective leadership for service/area. - Continually assess and improve care and services fosters quality management. - Manages organizational resources with fiscal responsibility. - Promotes operational efficiency & effectiveness. - Ensures compliance to regulatory regulations. - Maintains Licensure. - Provide age specific appropriated care to infant child. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the position, the candidate must have three years of clinical nursing experience. Prior leadership/managerial experience preferred. Service Lines/Areas: Telemetry. SKILLS & ABILITIES: Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and implement effective strategies to enhance the financial performance of the department and the organization. The ability to ensure the confidentiality and rights of all patient and departmental documents is required. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required, BSN required. Currently licensed as RN in state of Maryland. Current BLS certification. Specialty certification preferred.
