An assignment now exists on the Countys MAP team for: NURSE PRACTITIONER I Per Diem $39.21 HourlySelected candidates will provide care to patients with acute and chronic health problems in the areas of, but not limited to, pediatrics, womens healthcare and/or family practice. Duties include performing physical exams, evaluating patient health, developing diagnoses and performing diagnostic/medical case management services. The qualified Nurse Practitioner I Per Diem has knowledge of techniques used in the diagnosis and treatment of personal health problems and the ability to provide care to patients with acute and chronic health problems. Communicating effectively orally and writing is also required. Nurse Practitioner applicants must possess a current valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California, as well as a valid certificate authorizing practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of California.
