Offering temporary or per diem assignments that will exceed your expectations, our in-house Medical Assignment Program allows healthcare professionals to work in a variety of settings with scheduling options that fit anyones active lifestyle. An assignment now exists on the Countys MAP team for: NURSING ASSISTANT Per Diem$12.26 Hourly Working in a per diem employment capacity, the Nursing Assistant will assist professional nursing staff or other medical therapists in providing basic care and treatment to physically and mentally ill patients. Nursing Assistant - Per Diem hospital and clinic assignments are flexibly scheduled or on an on-call basis and receive additional compensation in lieu of Riverside Countys fringe benefits. Duties include giving basic bedside nursing care to assure comfort and cleanliness of patients, as well as assisting with medical procedures. This assignment requires either six months of experience as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a recognized training program in basic patient care. The ability to perform bedside nursing care in an understanding and sympathetic manner is essential.
