The Nurse Educator is directly responsible to the Deputy Associate Director for Patient Care Services. The incumbent is accountable primarily for the mental health clinical and classroom instruction on all tours to meet the needs of the patient/client; however, education and training are expected to be delivered to staff on various non-psychiatric topics as well.He/she will assist in the assessment of the educational needs of staff and plan, implement, and evaluate, in-service programs offered to Medical Center personnel. In addition, he/she is responsible to report all nursing practice issues to the Deputy Associate Director for Patient Care Services.
