This allows our physicians to manage the care of their patients with less of the outside intervention that is currently prevalent in the managed care industry.The Quality Care Coordinator is responsible for reporting to the CMC the efforts and outcomes of the disease management programs. This position involves the ability to assess, plan and facilitate options and services to meet the members, physicians and patient´s needs. It requires the ability to use available resources in a timely manner to promote high-quality cost-effective care. The Quality Care Coordinator is responsible for working collaboratively with the patient, physician, and healthcare team. This position applies the standards of practice and performance in the work setting to achieve positive outcomes and ensures that performed activities are in compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations. Preferred Qualifications:Formal training which will probably be indicated by a Master´s Degree of Science in Nursing, a Missouri Registered Professional Nursing license, and board certified by the National Medicine Nurse Practitioners and Nurses or American Nurses Association. ER and or ICU experience preferred. The NP will maintain active certification as defined by either the National Certification Board of Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioners & Nurses, American Nurses Board or Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioners or the ANA Certification Board.We offer competitive salary and excellent benefits, Including 401K and Profit SharingEOE
