Florida Hospital Celebration Health is currently expanding to offer much needed services, including a new medical office building and bringing the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute to Osceola County.Unit:Our Medical/Surgical units offer 59 high-tech private rooms and a multidisciplinary care team approach to responsively serve a wide variety of diagnoses. We are also a culturally diverse staff that is multi-lingual and well-versed in caring for patient needs and preferences. Our primary goal is to provide the best possible patient experience, regardless of condition. Med/Surg patients may be recovering from surgeries, hospitalized for an acute condition, or in the final stages of a progressive and chronic disease. Our surgical population represents many subspecialty procedures in bariatric, orthopaedic, prostatectomy, general vascular and spinal surgeries, as well as general surgery. Care is provided by highly qualified nurses with subspecialty training and/or certifications in medical surgical, trauma or cardiac nursing. Over 70% of the team is BSN level, and all receive at least 24 contact hours per year. Utilizing the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
