Through our whole-person care nursing philosophy, we care for the patient and their families during all stages of Oncology and Hematology disorders. For our staff we offer a dedicated relaxation lounge, a free charge nurse, a 4:1 patient to nurse ratio, a Collaborative Practice Team, and two educational specialists individually dedicated to Oncology and Medical/Progressive Care training. The Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager provides leadership in the delivery of care and nursing practice within the clinical unit. The Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager participates in unit employee selection through interviewing and the hiring process. Directs and evaluates personnel according to hospital, nursing and unit philosophy and objectives. The Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager is a role model and resource person guiding staff in the development of skills and capabilities. The Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager develops unit activities that support the elements of extending excellence. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.Requirements:Requires at least 3 years of recent Oncology RN experience, previous Charge RN or Management experience is preferred
