We are seeking an Operations Manager for a busy Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department.

We are seeking an Operations Manager for a busy Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department.The Emergency Department at Geisinger Wyoming Valley recently expanded to a 32-bed department including 10 Express care beds to accommodate growing emergency services needs in the region seeing over 35,000 visits a year. GWV is the only Level II trauma center in Luzerne County and is an Accredited Chest Pain Center.Currently there is a key role of Operations Manager Emergency Department available. This person will possess a positive can do it approach to problem solving with demonstrated ability to lead staff. They will be responsible to oversee and facilitate the highest quality of patient care delivery and patient and family satisfaction. They will work with other members of the emergency department management team and employees to achieve fiscal, service and quality targets. To be successful in this position the ideal candidate will have effective communication and organizational skills, demonstrated skills in leading top performance quality outcomes, and the ability to successfully lead teams. Additional skills are excellent leadership and ability to empower team members and promote problem solving within the team. The candidate will be a current RN with a Bachelors degree in Healthcare, Business or related field required, Masters Degree in Business or related field preferred.
