Nursing Advanced Practice
Under general supervision, provides care for pregnant and post-partum adolescent and adult patients. Certified Nurse Midwife Program or Certified Nurse Practitioner, OB experience preferred A high level of analytical ability required in order to assess patients and implement appropriate intervention. Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively interact with staff, physicians, patients, and family members. Able to perform as Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room. Current certification with the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses as a Certified Nurse Midwife or Certified Women´s Health Nurse Practitioner Completion of Healthcare Provider CPR course. Valid agreement with Chairman of dept and appropriate Board.
