14 operating rooms at Robert Packer Hospital and 2 in the Same Day Surgery unit with approximately 13,000 anesthetic cases per year. Entire spectrum of cases from basic to complex cardiac, vascular, orthopedic, neurosurgical and Ob/Gyn to fully engage anesthesiology expertise. Newly built expansive operating rooms at Robert Packer Hospital with 42,000 square feet of dedicated, well-designed, efficient operating rooms and ambulatory surgery with advanced mechanical, electrical and technological capabilities including direct digital communication. 8 General Anesthesiologists, 3 Cardiac/Critical Care Anesthesiologists, 10 CRNAs currently, 1 FNP and 4 Anesthesia Technicians. Anesthesia department manages O.R. schedule providing the necessary structure for a smooth efficient work day. An Anesthesia Care Team approach is utilized.CRNAs work 40 hours per week. In-house call of 1:7; post-call day is off. CRNAs typical day is 7:00-7:30am-4:00pm (approximately).Guthrie Clinic is adjacent to Robert Packer Hospital, a 238-bed Level II Trauma and Tertiary care center where we have residency programs in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and General Surgery.
