The hospital campus features four medical office buildings, two pharmacies and the offices of more than 100 physicians. Overland Park Regional is an accreditated chest pain center. Our Cath Lab does approximately 1400 procedures per year. These procedures include PTCA/Stent, peripheral stents and EP. Our nursing care also includes the admitting and recovery of outpatients, care of CCTAs, cardioversion and tilt table patients and assisting with stress tests. Qualifications Required Job Qualifications include:Current Kansas RN licenseCurrent certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider and ACLS.Minimum 1 year ICU, CCU or Cardiac Cath Lab ExperienceCurrent Knowledge of ECG monitoringI.A.B.P. experience preferredCritical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds. Possess the ability to work as member of a team or independently as the needs require and to prioritize responsibilitiesClinically proficient in cath lab procedures demonstrating a knowledge of the developmental needs of the adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
